As an artist, I have a voice. It isn't a loud one, but if even one person hears me, then it was worth speaking up. We should all be very concerned about where our food comes from. The welfare of our animals matters. The certainty, quality and future of our crops matter. The well-being of those who toil to feed us all, matters. After all, No farmers, No food.
There have been protests across Europe and, earlier this year, tractors rumbled into Westminster. A clear cry for help.
Moved to express my own concern, I hope that others will see this art-print not merely as wall decoration, but as a statement about what is so easily taken for granted.
If you would like a noisy little goose, you can find the print by following this link:
As ever, an enormous, lip-smacking THANK YOU to everyone who gave homes to my retiring gingerbread men. The print sold out on release. You blow me away, you do.
I'll be back in Autumn with exhibition dates and any other potential snippets of interest.
Until then, and if the sun shines; why not find some sand and DANCE in it!
